Fail RP

Fail RP describes when players break character or ignore established rules, ruining the immersive experience for everyone involved. Fail RP is a big no-no in the role-playing community.

Fail RP, or Failure to Roleplay, is a term used to describe when a player's actions or behavior go against the established norms and rules of the roleplay. This can include breaking character, disregarding roleplay etiquette, or acting in a manner that disrupts the overall roleplay experience for other players.

Examples of Fail RP include:

  1. Refusing to roleplay a realistic injury after being shot by another player

  2. Refusing to roleplay a lawful arrest by a roleplay police officer

  3. Bringing real-life drama into the roleplay

  4. Power-gaming or god-modding by controlling other players' characters without their consent

  5. Using out-of-character knowledge to influence in-character decisions or actions.

  6. Shooting someone without a valid roleplay reason or justification

  7. Driving recklessly or causing accidents without RP reason

  8. Stealing from players or looting without a proper RP scenario

  9. Using weapons or violence without any RP setup or scenario

  10. Randomly killing other players without RP reason or motive

  11. Breaking into homes or buildings without a proper RP scenario

  12. Not roleplaying injuries or consequences of actions

  13. Not following server rules or guidelines for roleplay

  14. Using out-of-character information to gain an advantage in roleplay

  15. Not roleplaying as your character and instead acting as yourself in the game.
