# Personalizing your character

The next screen will take you to personalization so that you can make your character as unique as you.

This is an important step to creating your character in Geo City RP! Explore all of the options, such as skin tone, face features, clothes, props (necklaces, scarves, hats, etc) to create a character that matches your imagination. Don't forget to add eyebrows! You are required to change from the default player skin by altering your face, selecting clothing and any other customizations you'd like to see.

You can also select a ped model, which is any other player model than **mp\_f\_freemode01** or **mp\_m\_freemode01**. Peds are **extremely limited in customization and usually only have one style of clothing.** If you want tattoos, masks and other features that let you have originality, do not select a ped as your character.

Press `T` and type `/styles` and press **Enter** to set your walk style and mood. This will remain persistent so that your character always has the same traits without having to set it each time you log in.
