Power gaming / Forcing RP
Power gaming takes away the realism and unpredictability of roleplay. It's essential to keep the game fair and let the roleplay unfold organically for an immersive experience.
Forcing RP refers to when a player tries to control the actions or decisions of another player in a role-playing scenario. This can result in a lack of agency for the affected player and can compromise the overall role-playing experience for everyone involved.
Examples of power gaming include:
Demanding that another player give you their money or items
Telling another player what they should say or do in a role-play scenario without good reason
Forbidding another player from leaving a role-play scenario without your permission
Making unreasonable demands of another player in a role-play scenario, including asking for weapons from police officers or asking them to leave the scene for a costume change.
Imposing a scenario that makes it impossible for another player to react realistically
Interrupting another player's role-play with your own actions or demands
