πŸ‘»Injuries and Death

Assume that injury may lead to death in roleplay. When injured, act the injury and treat medical staff as you would in real life. Writhe in pain and remain immersed - for everyone's benefit.

  1. Assume that injury may result in death to avoid metagaming. Live as if your character has only one life.

  2. Treat medical staff like you would in real life. Your character's life depends on them and their instructions are very important.

  3. Injuries during conflict: unconsciousness begins at the moment of falling and lasts until you receive treatment. You must act the injury, such as groaning in pain, wincing, or remaining silent and using /me messages to convey your injuries.

  4. Life after death: If you respawn or "see the light," you can remember two simple identifying factors from the encounter, such as their clothing (shirt, pants, shoes, hair), car type (sedan, truck, van, etc.), or car color/flag color. If you are treated by EMS or are taken to the hospital, your memory will be fuzzy.

  5. Injuries during Conflict: If your character becomes unconscious during a conflict, they may remember everything leading up to the unconsciousness, but will not remember anything that happens after. To enhance the roleplay experience, you can groan and try to speak while unconscious. Unconsciousness starts at the moment your character falls to the ground during conflict RP and should be roleplayed until they are treated at the hospital.

  6. If you were shot or suffered a major injury, you should act that injury until your scene has ended. The scene has ended once you have left the hospital or have been sent to prison if you are in custody.
